Our North Star
We strive to make behavioral health access more equitable. We take a data-informed, family empowered approach to connecting the complicated web of resources, ultimately easing the behavioral health journey.

Families shouldn't have to navigate alone
We simplify the journey, so families can spend less time searching and more focused on what matters most.

Communities need connected systems
We bring partners together to align resources, reduce duplications, and ensure no one falls through the gaps.

Data should improve outcomes, not create barriers
We use data and insights to identify needs, guide decisions, and strengthen the systems that support our communities.

When families get the right support at the right time, the impact extends far beyond one individual. BH Navigation is designed to strengthen outcomes at the individual, community, and systems level, creating healthier futures across Washington.

Health Care
Authority

Health Care Authority provided funding support for this pilot initiative as part of its commitment to improving health outcomes and advancing equitable, community-centered systems of care. HCA’s mission is to ensure that all Washington residents have access to high-quality, affordable health care that supports whole-person wellbeing.
WA State Community Connectors

Washington State Community Connectors (WSCC) helped facilitate funding support for this pilot and played a key role in connecting the Parent Portal group to the initiative. WSCC works to strengthen collaboration across communities, organizations, and systems in order to improve access, coordination, and support for children and families across Washington State.
The Parent Portal Committee

The Parent Portal Group is made up of individuals and families with lived experience navigating behavioral health systems. Their voices, insights, and advocacy helped bring this idea to life with the hope that other families can more easily find support, access resources, and avoid many of the barriers and challenges they experienced themselves.
Why This Matters
Families navigating behavioral health systems often encounter fragmented information, disconnected services, and overwhelming complexity. BH Navigation was built to reduce those barriers, helping people find clearer pathways to care while supporting stronger coordination across the broader system.
